Comedian Bill Burr
October 23, 2009
My personal favorite comedian that I will be seeing Friday at the DC Improv is comedian Bill Burr. If the name may not ring a bell, the face will. He has done an HBO one stand and numerous appearances on Comedy Central. He is currently getting ready to film his own HBO special. He has had tons of guest spots but mostly known for his work on the Chapelle show and most recently with the Opie and Anthony radio show on XM 202 Sirius 197. He has an amazing perspective on some of the same shit we went through growing up. He also has some of the most simple but realistic comedic solutions to some of the most complex issues from marriage, the environment, and corporate corruption. He is a great hockey, football and baseball mind. Sadly, he is pro Boston since he is from that there. The man is so on point and funny you quickly forget about it plus he’s a true hometown sports guy so you gotta respect that. He hosts a hilarious podcast on his website once a week called the “Monday Morning Podcast” where he talks about what’s going on in his life as a comedian and life in general. He also talks about things going on in the news and sports and all that fun shit plus interaction with his podcast listeners.
